Dale D. Pawley focuses his practice on complex torts and casualty, insurance defense and coverage matters, bad faith litigation, general liability and personal injury litigation involving premises liability, negligent security, and motor vehicle negligence. Before joining FHB, Mr. Pawley worked as an associate and senior attorney with national litigation firms where he vigorously defended insurance carriers and litigated all aspects of insurance defense matters, from pre-suit inquiry through mediation, investigation, trial, and post judgment. He favorably handled unfair competition matters and represented international truck and auto manufacturers and dealer clients. Previously, and for over nine years, he was managing attorney and proprietor of his law office in Los Angeles where he obtained multiple dismissals of tort and contract actions filed against small businesses. He tenaciously represented homeowners in personal injury and premises liability matters in litigation and at mediation. Mr. Pawley also negotiated settlements on behalf of individuals and corporate clients in contract negotiations, handled tort matters and consulted in business entity formation and contracts. Mr. Pawley received his Juris Doctor from Arizona State University College of Law in 2007 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2002 from the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Pawley is licensed to practice law in California and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and U.S. Department of Justice, Immigration Courts.
